Apply by hand / walk-in
- Applications are usually processed within 3 working days during the low season (March-September) and up to 5 working days during the high season (October-February) after the date of submission, provided that all the required documents are completed. Same-day service is not permitted.
Apply by post.
- Postal applications are usually processed up to approximately 15 working days for all seasons not including the mailing time. Travellers who are aware that they will travel within a short time frame are not advised to send the visa application to the Embassy by post. The Embassy is not held responsible for any consequences should the applicant sends a last minute application to the Embassy by post. The applicant will bear the consequences and responsibility at all costs.
- When submitting the application by mail, a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage stamps (Registered Mail ONLY) is required for the return of passport. Please contact Post Nord for further information on postage stamps.
– In the absence of the required self-addressed and stamped envelope with sufficient postage, the Embassy will not be responsible for returning the passport. (Postage should NOT be included in the visa fee).
Please note that the Embassy is not responsible for lost, damage, delay or misdirected mail.
